It's September 2023 and i've been listing my items on ebay since around June 2001. My very first lamp was sold on ebay to a gentleman from NY, NY who was a stock broker and who lived only about 10 blocks from Wall Street and the World Trade Center. When the Towers collapsed on 9/11/2001 he and everyone from the Wall Street Trading floor had to be evacuated off Manhattan thru a ferry boat using Battery Park al as pick up spot.
It was quite an ordeal for them and when they were allowed to return 2 weeks later they found my lamp had been delivered almost as the area was being evacuated on 9/11. Fedex had delivered the boxes and they were sitting on the sidewalk in front of the entrance door to the building waiting to be claimed when he returned.
