8th Street Mission Arts and Crafts Oak Lamp

This Arts and Crafts style lamp was first commissioned for a friend who was a teacher at MSU, and lived in the old Tudor style dorm buildings off Farm Road. The task was to create a lamp that was narrow enough to sit on his small desk, and high enough to cast light straight down on the papers. This lamp is done in the English Tudor Style, and reflects the towers that are often incorporated into the structures. The shade holds art glass or mica panels, and uses a single UL approved 3-way light bulb. It will fit on a small table with room to spare.
