Arts and Crafts Style Saugatuck Mission Floor Lamp

This Mission Oak lamp is made to match
our smaller table lamps. Each
lamp is made from hand selected eye popping solid quarter sawn white oak.
We love using tiger striped white oak in our hand crafted pieces, and
we finish the piece using a traditional Arts & Crafts method of
Dutch Oils, and fine English Bees Wax. The
stain used comes from an old Grand Rapids style Charles Limbert Co. original
recipe.

This old school octagon shade is lap jointed throughout and set with natural Baltic amber mica. The corbels used to support the shade are very sturdy, and are done in an Arts & Crafts Style. The 2-inch thick sub-base weighing almost 5 pounds provides a nice anchor. If ambiance and charm are important in your home, you will love this lamp. The dual pull chain electrical cluster takes 60-watt bulbs, and is solid brass, and has a patina so it looks old. The lamps cord is high quality braided cloth like those used around 1910. The lamp is a new creation by Ragsdale, and the design draws from common fundamentals of the Craftsman, Arts, and Crafts, and Mission movements.

The lamp stands 60” high,
and measures 21” x 21” at the shade, and has nice proportion.
